Szörnyűző (Trick or Treat) is the Halloween title in the creator’s “SEASONS” game series. You compete as apprentices to a famous wizard. As Halloween night draws near, your teacher has mysteriously vanished, and now you must face the monsters that are about to appear, demanding all sorts of treats. Battle monsters – rather cute ones, though –  that embody different phobias! Gain as many victory points as you can by driving them away and collecting lots of jack-o’-lanterns!

The game is played over five rounds. Each round begins with a preparation phase, then the monsters arrive – and the smash-bash begins! Play treat cards to win monster cards (and the victory points on them) – but only if the card matches the monster’s colour and the treat matches what the monster wants!

The wizard apprentice with the highest score wins. Like other titles in the series (Fényes díszek, Hímes tojások, Strandbüfé), the game is for 1-6 players and lasts about 25 minutes. It also includes a simplified version and a solo mode.
